The video below is about creating the finish seen on the featured door. The steps to follow are:
1.     Undercoat the substrate and sand it ready for the topcoat.
2.     Make the textured mix following the instructions in the Metalier Manual.
3.     Apply the thick mix to the substrate and make the desired pattern with a spatula or other tool.
4.     When the textured coat has cured sand it with 180 grit sandpaper to smooth off the “highs” of the  pattern.
5.      Use the bristle brushes to expose the metals in the deep parts of the texture – the parts that the sander can’t reach. First use red bristles 200 grit, then green, 1 micron and finally peach 6 microns.
6.     Then sand the finish using the grades 240 grit, 400, 600, 1200, 2000, 4000 and 5000 until you have the desired level of shine.
7.     Finally apply black wax, clear wax or our nano clear coat to seal the door.
